Reflections

Are you an artist? A composer? A writer?

Then the 2023-2024 Reflections Competition is for YOU!

The national PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

Thank you!

Thank you to Heather Moore, Emily Balestreire and the entire Sunny Funny Fair committee for organizing yet another outstanding and memorable event. Also a special thanks to the many families who volunteered their time, sent in donations, and showed up to enjoy the fair; it's great to be a part of our community that so generously supports Howe and its students!

The Sunny Funny Fair is our biggest FUNdraising event of the year. The grounds around Howe are transformed into a carnival, with over 40 games, activities, craft stations, cake walk. Kids play games to earn points that can be cashed in for prizes, and food is available for purchase. This event is open to the entire family and surrounding community.

5th Grade Activities

It's your last year at Howe, let's make it a memorable one!

The 5th grade committee is responsible for raising funds for 5th grade activities. Fifth grade students participate in numerous fun events to make their last year at Howe memorable. Parents must opt-in to receive separate communication from the 5th grade committee.

Yearbook

Howe Elementary School is thrilled to partner with Treering for our 2023-2024 school yearbook. Treering is a reputable company that provides easy-to-use photo upload and mobile app features to ensure each yearbook captures a comprehensive collection of memories of the school year and of each individual student.

Our yearbook cost for this year will be $17.94. You can create a free account, take a look at the website, and easily purchase your copy.

If you purchase your yearbook before October 31, 2023, you will receive a 10% discount.
